At 7:30 this morning, as soon as I turned on my phone, I received a message from Eugenie’s mum. Her daughter’s artwork has been selected by federal Independent MP for Kooyong, Monique Ryan, to represent her on this year’s Christmas card.
Eugenie has been studying at 欣欣美校 (New Star Art School) since she was five. Her artwork stood out among the many entries in the Christmas card competition because she did not copy the common Christmas themes on the market — it was completely her own original creation! With the innocence of a child, she expressed a sense of “passing on,” a gentle flow of love.
